Union for Democracy declares 2009 as a Year of Solidarity of World Azerbaijanis

He said the union plans to hold a number of measures in the framework of this year.

"The events are planned on occasion of the 20th anniversary of the Solidarity Day of World Azerbaijanis.

The Union for Democracy congratulates the Azerbaijani people with the coming New Year and Day of Solidarity of World Azerbaijan", announced Miralioghlu.

Notably, the union currently includes the Azadlyg party, Classical Popular Front Party, Popular Party of Azerbaijan (the party is represented by Milli Medjlis deputy Panah Huseyn), Great Azerbaijan party and National-Democratic Party of Azerbaijan.
