Ali Hasanov: "The main decision in the issue of the referendum must be made by Azerbaijani people"

"Azerbaijani people must say their word in this issue", Ali Hasanov told reporters Wednesday, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

The chief of department also noted that each party has a right to voice his own opinion.

"This is related to the opposition parties, which have a right to speak in support or against a referendum", said he.

"A proposal on introduction of amendments and alterations to the Constitution is an initiative of several deputies of the parliament, but the people of Azerbaijan will say their word in this issue", concluded the chief of department.
