Panah Huseyn: "I do not understand the ruling party which rushed to urgently include the issue of a referendum to the agenda of Milli Medjlis"

"I do not understand what made the ruling party to include the issue of a referendum to the agenda of the parliament within two days", said member of the Musavat parliamentary group Panah Huseyn.

"Deputy Gudrat Hasanquliyev presented the draft amendments to the Constitution to the parliament two years ago but it has not been considered yet, while deputy Ali Ahmedov proposed the referendum just two days ago and the parliament urgently included this issue to the agenda.

My response is that the ruling party wants to put a full stop in some issues and show that their only candidate is the working president. In fact if they wanted the nest, the political technologies of the powers could have done it before the presidential elections for the referendum not to be connected with the fact that Ilham Aliyev has been twice elected as president", said Huseyn.
