Yuri Merzlyakov: "The next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan will be held in Helsinki in early December"

"The next meeting of the Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan on the Karabakh conflict settlement will be held in the threshold of the session of the board of the foreign ministry of OSCE to be held in Helsinki on December 4-5", said Russian co-chair of the OSCE Minsk Group on the Karabakh conflict settlement Yuri Merzlyakov.

He noted that the co-chairs intend to intensify work and meetings on the high level.

"It is difficult to specify the terms of the next meeting of the presidents of Armenia and Azerbaijan, yet the meeting will be definitely held, though there may appear undesirable moments, hampering the process", said the co-chair at a press conference in Yerevan.

He said such influence should not be ignored as it distracts attention and the co-chairs try to avoid it.
