Iltimas Mamedov: "Azerbaijan's Communication Ministry always tries to react operatively to the anti-Azerbaijani propaganda in the Internet"

The Ministry of Communication and Information Technologies always tries to react quickly and operatively to the anti-Azerbaijani propaganda in the Internet, said deputy Minister of Communication and Information Technologies Iltimas Mamedov, commenting on yesterday's mistake, made at MAIL.RU website.

"We have a list of websites, on which information about Azerbaijan is distorted. I assure that we are regularly promoting correction of these mistakes in cooperation with the Foreign Ministry of Azerbaijan.

We are sending explanatory notes. But you understand that it is often difficult to regulate and correct something in the Internet-area", noted Mamedov.

The deputy minister also highly appreciated the role of mass medias, which call on their readers to demonstrate civil position and send letters of protest to the websites, which distort information about Azerbaijan.
