The autumn session of the Milli Medjlis (parliament) of Azerbaijan will start Thursday.

Earlier, vice-speaker of the parliament Bahar Muradova announced that it is planned to present about 20 draft law for consideration at the autumn session of the parliament, Novosti-Azerbaijan reports.
She said the parliament is also expected to ratify intergovernmental agreements with a number of countries, "and introduce amendments to some of existing laws".
The vice speaker noted that the permanent commission on social policy will present 5 draft laws - "Code of residence", "On reproductive health" and others; commission on economic policy - 4 laws, including draft state budget for 2009, "Code of competition", commission on human rights - 6 draft laws; commission on agrarian policy - 1 draft law.
"Moreover, there is a plan to hold public hearings", said Muradova.
