President of Azerbaijan visits Saatli and Sabirabad- UPDATED

4 new Olympic complexes will be launched in different regions of the country by the end of 2008, said Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, according to Novosti-Azerbaijan.

"Through the past few years the country launched 33 OLympic complexes. The Sabirabad Olympic Complex is the 16th launched one", noted the head of the state at the opening ceremony of the Olympic complex in the framework of his trip to Sabirabad.

The President familiarized with the sport complex's interior and was informed that the complex include a main corps for 600 people, three two-storied cottages, a two-storey hotel, a swimming pool and football and volleyball fields.

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev visited Sabirabad in the framework of the visit to the central regions of the country.

The head of the state started his visit to the region by attending the opening ceremony of the museum complex of Heydar Aliyev, reports Novosti-Azerbaijan with reference to AZTV.

After that the President visited the Caucasus Alkapon of the Caucasus Holding where he familiarized with the producing process at the enterprise. The head of the state was informed that the capacity of the enterprise will make 4,400 square meters of different kinds of aluminum composite panels. In the future the production will be exported abroad. Currently, the enterprise accounts for 53 workers but in the future their number would reach 120.

Aliyev also visited the plant on production of lifting facilities, owned by the Caucasus Holding. The president was told that the enterprise capacity will make up 500,000 of different kinds of lifts with the capacity of from 400 kg to 5 tons.

After familiarizing with the ready production, the head of the state noted that the lifts produced at the plant will be able to meet the internal needs of the country and be exported to the neighbor countries.

The equipment of the enterprise meets the international standards and it is regulated through a computer system. The plant accounts for 165 people. Additional 3200 new jobs will be created here in the process of the complete launching of the enterprise.

The president was also informed that the average monthly wage of the Caucasus Holding employees will range from AZN 250 to 500.

After it I.Aliyev attended the opening of the regional House of Youth. The first floor of the building has an e-library. The courses of marketing and management, banking activity, foreign languages and so on will be opened in the Youth House.

Day.Az reports with reference to AzerTac that the head of the state took part in the opening of the park of culture and resort named after ophthalmologist Zarifa Aliyeva in Saatli.

The memorial to academician Zarifa Aliyeva was set in the park. Ilham Aliyev put flowers to the pedestal of the memorial. He held a meeting with public representatives.

The head of the state visited the memorial of national leader Heydar Aliyev in the park of culture and resort of the Saatli region. The Museum of Heydar Aliyev, building of the regional organization of the Yeni Azerbaijan party and an art gallery are located in the park. The part accounts for 33 workers.

President of Azerbaijan attended the opening of Heydar Aliyev's museum. The museum contains photos, books, different documents, on the life and activity of Heydar Aliyev.

Ilham Aliyev met with public representatives.
