Mazahir Panakhov: "If presidential candidates violate law during air time, they will be punished"

He said each candidate has a right to reject participation in the air time.

"If presidential candidates violate the law during the air time, they will be brought to responsibility by the Central Election Commission, for there is a law and they should observe it during the airtime", said the head of the Central Election Commission.

Panakhov noted that if a candidate behaves not adequately during the air time, the conductor will have a right to stop his speech.

"But I think that such cases will not be recorded and candidates will behave adequately. Otherwise, the Central Election Commission will take due measures against such candidates", concluded Panakhov.
