26 August 2008 [09:28] - TODAY.AZ
The United Popular Front Party of Azerbaijan held a session, Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for the party.
As is reported, the session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country and the further organizational issues.

For preventing and eliminating the emergency situations the party urges the powers to set watching cameras near the state establishments, strategic objects and at central streets.

"There have been two cases of terrorist acts, including explosion of two grenades in Abu Bekir mosque and a strong blast in Khatai, through the past week. Citizens of Azerbaijan died. These events require holding a large scale arrangement for observation of security measures.

In particular, alongside with allocation of colossal means for construction works, the powers must allocate means from the Oil fund for setting watching cameras in the central parts of the Baku city.

For example, in England, in London, where 12,000,000 people live, 4,500,000 watching cameras were set. It would be expedient to take the same steps here", says the statement.

The party also urges people to be cautious.
