The session of the Musavat party divan was held today, according to party chairman Arif Hajili.
He said the session participants discussed the sociopolitical situation in the country, as well as the party's participation in the upcoming presidential elections.

"The Musavat party decided to continue the protests. The regional organizations of the party were set due instructions in connection with mass actions. Our actions refer to the violation of the law "On Freedom of Assembly", as well as the recent amendments to the Electoral Code", announced Hajili.

The Musavat party chairman also announced that discussions are currently held on party's participation in the upcoming presidential elections.

"Our final position on the issue will soon be defined", noted he.

In turn, chairman of the youth organization of the Musavat party Tural Abbasly announced that if the mayor's office does not sanction the party, they will hold an unsanctioned protest in front of the Baku mayor's office.

"We are currently waiting for the decision of the Musavat party. After it is adopted, the youth organization will be ready to take part in any arrangements", noted he.
