The Liberal-Democratic party of Azerbaijan intends to use airships and aerostats during its election campaign, said party chairman Fuad Aliyev.

He said through a short period of time, the party managed to create the central election campaign team and regional election teams of the party in Lenkoran (South), Tovuz (West) and Khachmaz (North). A regional team will also open in Nakhchivan soon.
"We have already prepared for introduction to the Central Election Committee the list of observers, lawyers, advisers and party representatives for participation in the election process. The party will also invite international observers from 10 countries-Russia, Ukraine, Estonia, Belgium, Pakistan, Japan, Belarus, Turkey, Serbia and Indonesia.
At the same time, the recent amendments to the Electoral Code and the law "On freedom of Assembly" cause doubts about the democracy and transparency of upcoming elections. Nevertheless, we intend to participate in the elections and invited specialists from Turkey, Russia and Belgium for organization of the agitation campaign", said Fuad Aliyev.
He noted that in its agitation campaign the party intends to use airstats and airships.
"We have already purchased 20 airships and aerostats in Turkey and intend to hang agitation materials on them as the ban of placards and use of TV does not let us choose. Airships fly in the air, so we hope that the placards will not bother anyone", said Fuad Aliyev.
