A regular meeting of the five opposition parties was held in the office of the Musavat party on May 24.

Day.Az reports with reference to the press service for Musavat party that during the meeting the participants discussed the pre-election situation in the country.
Two documents were adopted following the discussions. One of them is a draft law, reflecting position of the opposition on the amendments and alterations to the Electoral Code. Another document is a reference, reflecting the opinion of the five opposition parties, regarding "proposals of the authorities to the Electoral Code".
The participants supported continuation of efforts for improvement of the Electoral Code and democratization of the pre-election climate. The five opposition parties also decided to appeal to the Azadlyg bloc with a request to support this single position before the next session of the parliament.
