Armenia approves Azerbaijan-initiated resolution on missing people

The due announcement was made by Day.Az with reference to Azadlyg radio.

According to Habib Mikayilli, secretary of the Azerbaijani representation under the UN Department in Geneva, this project is purely humanitarian.

"38 countries joined the document as co-authors, including Armenia, during the discussions held in Geneva", Mikayilli said.

It should be noted that a draft resolution on the problems of missing people of the armed conflicts, initiated by a delegation from Azerbaijan was adopted in the framework of the seventh session of the UN Board of Human Rights in Geneva on March 29.
