Azerbaijan attempts to reject the document on Karabakh, discussed at the negotiation table, said Armenian Foreign Minister Vardan Oskanyan at an informal session of the CSTO Cabinet of Foreign Ministers in Moscow, Friday.
According to Oskanyan, this is proven by Azerbaijan's initiative on the resolution on Nagorno Karabakh, presented to the UN General Assembly.
"Though this resolution has no legal force, by promoting it, Azerbaijan tries to reject the document discussed at the negotiation table", a source from the Department for Press and Information of the Armenian Foreign Ministry quoted Oskanyan as saying.
Moreover, the Armenian Foreign Minister considers that Azerbaijan attempts to transfer the discussions from the OSCE Minsk Group to the United Nations, which will endanger the continuation of the negotiation process.
"In this sense, Armenia is anxious about the failure of the Collective Security Treaty Organization to come out from a single position", the Minister announced.
Oskanyan noted that the countries, which voted for the resolution, in fact, voted against the negotiation process.
In conclusion, he voiced hope that the CSTO member-states will further adhere to the solidarity principle.
