Polad Bul Bul oghlu: "Azerbaijan does not intend to withdraw from the CIS"

The due announcement was made by Polad Bul Bul oghlu, Azerbaijani ambassador to Russia, while commenting on Russian-Azerbaijani relations.

"This was a wrong interpretation. We were saying that the CIS format is a good area for talks, meetings, communication of the heads of state. This does not rule out the necessity to reform the CIS, which many leaders stress".

He said however, Azerbaijan does not intend to withdraw from the CIS.
