The governmental delegation from Sri Lanka will arrive in Azerbaijan in the first half of May of this year.

The due announcement was made by Tamerlan Garayev, ambassador extraordinary and plenipotentiary of Azerbaijan to Sri Lanka.
He noted that the Sri Lanka government is interested in expansion of economic relations with Azerbaijan. The composition of the delegation is currently being specified.
Garayev reminded that three Sri Lanka ministers visited Baku in August of 2007 and the dialogue on the discussed projects will continue.
The ambassador also noted that Azerbaijan has sent a draft protocol on the conduction of consultations against Foreign Ministries to the Sri Lanka government
