Iran is holding elections to the parliament.

APA reports with reference to Iranian press that Iranian government has already disqualified two candidates.
One of them is clergymen, ethnic Azerbaijani Jafar Fathalizade and another-reformist Muhamed Reza Pourebrahimi.
The decision to disqualify the candidates was explained by the Trusteeship Council of Iran by their inappropriateness.
Thus, J.Fathalizade, nominated from Marand and Julfa, was accused of national intolerance and provocation of clashes with police during the election campaign.
