UN to discuss Nagorno Karabakh conflict

According to Novosti-Azerbaijan, the draft resolution will be discussed on Friday.

"The General Assembly again announces that none of the countries should recognize the situation, established in the result of occupation of Azerbaijani lands, as legal,and should not promote or encourage the preservation of such a situation", says the draft document, which will be put for voting.

The document states the need of immediate, complete and unquestioned withdrawal of Armenian armed forces from all the occupied lands of Azerbaijan.

"The armed clash in Nagorno Karabakh and around it continues to pose threat to international peace and security", the draft resolution says.
