Political scientist Alexander Iskandaryan: "Declaration of Kosovo's independence will not influence the situation around the status of Nagorno Karabakh"

"The unilateral declaration of Kosovo's independence will influence the rhetorics of the Karabakh side, yet it would hardly change the situation around the status of the so-called "Nagorno Karabakh Republic"

The due announcement was made by Alexander Iskandaryan, Armenian political scientist and head of the Caucasus Institute of Mass media.

The Armenian political scientist noted regarding possible recognition of Kosovo's independence by Armenia that such a step is currently politically inexpedient. "Moreover, I don't think that anyone will demand recognition of independent Kosovo from Armenia", A.Iskandaryan said.
