Head of Joint Staff of Armenian Armed Forces: "We should not underestimate the development of the Azerbaijani army"

The due statement was made by colonel-general Seyran Oganyan, first Deputy Minister of Defense of Armenia, head of the joint staff of Armenian Armed Forces during his meeting with the teaching staff of the Yerevan State University.

"The militaristic announcements has been voiced since the beginning of the war and are still voiced. They became even tenser in period when Azerbaijan started to use its funds for the development of its armed forces", Seyran Oganyan noted and added that Armenia must not underestimate the development of the Azerbaijani army.

He noted that Armenia reacts to the militaristic announcements of Azerbaijan by holding these or those military exercises when necessary.

"I am for definite work", he said and reminded that the Defense Minister of Armenia Mikael Arutyunan announced that the armed forces of the country are ready to fulfill the tasks, set in front of them.
