Azerbaijani parliamentarians leave for PACE winter session

The delegation of the Parliament of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe on 18 January left for Strasbourg to participate in the Organization’s winter session.
The session, due January 21-26, will focus on debates of the results of presidential elections in Georgia, parliamentary elections in Russia, the issue of Kosovo, global warming and crisis and Assembly’s foreign relations.

Although the issue related to Azerbaijan will not be on agenda, the members of the Azerbaijani delegation will lift the question of settlement of Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.

Armenia’s aggression policy against Azerbaijan, the plight of refugees and IDPs, arsons, set in the occupied territories by Armenians, destruction of historical-cultural monuments and other urgent issues will be priority in Azerbaijani MPs speeches.
