Azerbaijani Defense Minister receives US congressmen visiting Baku

The Defense Minister of Azerbaijan Safar Abiyev met with a delegation of the US congressmen led by Bill Schuster, co-chairman of the work group on Azerbaijan of the US Congress.

According to the press service of the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan, S.Abiyev noted that the cooperation between the two countries covers many fields including military.

The Minister informed the visitors about Azerbaijan's active participation in the anti-terror coalition and announced that this issue will also be a priority in the future.

Moreover, the sides exchanged views regarding the unsettled conflict with Armenia and occupation of 20% lands of Azerbaijan.

The visitors announced that the United States recognize the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan.
