Ilham Aliyev invited to inauguration of Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili

The due information has been provided by the ambassador of Georgia to Azerbaijan Nikolaz Natbiladze.

"Preparations for the inauguration ceremony will start in Tbilisi on January 13 following the official declaration of the results of presidential elections", the ambassador said.

"Azerbaijan and Georgia maintain friendly neighbor relations. After Mikhail Saakashvili is elected a president, the strategic partnership between our countries will remain on the same level", N.Natbiladze noted.

The ambassador also said that the times of normalization and stability in the region will come soon.

According to the diplomat, Saakashvili leaves other candidate, who have taken part in the presidential racing, behind and election of another person is highly unlikely.

"The inauguration ceremony of the Georgian President is scheduled for January 20. It will be attended by the heads of states and governments of a number of countries of the region and the world", Natbiladze said.
