Uzeir Jafarov: "Fortification carried out by Armenians in the Terter direction is connected with bad weather conditions"

"First and foremost, the announcements of the Armenian side which state that the fortification on the front line is carried out  not by the Armed Forces of Armenia but by the Armed Forces of the so-called "Nagorno Garabagh Republic" are false.

By this way, Armenians attempt to legitimate the status of the Armed Forces of the so called "Nagorno Garabagh Republic", which has not been recognized in the world.

In fact, these works are carried out by the Armed Forces of Armenia.

I was a witness of such works while being a deputy commander of a motor rifle brigade in Fizuli. Such engineering, strengthening works in this season of the year are connected with the deployment of limited number of soldiers due to bad weather conditions and reduction of a distance between the posts.

In other words, such works are not a proof of the possible resumption of hostilities on the contact line of the Armed Forces of Azerbaijan and Armenia, as the normal movement of the infantry or even more so the heavy military technique in conditions of snowfall is impossible.

Thus, such works carried out by Armenians are connected with bad weather conditions", famous military expert Uzeir Jafarov said commenting on the information about Armenians' fortifying their defense in the Terter direction.
