Eldar Sabiroglu: "Intention of Russia's State Duma members to assist Armenia in case of war is disappointing"

He noted that such an attitude hampers the settlement of the conflict.

"Russia is a co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk group. It means that these people are interested in Armenia's money. But politicians working on Armenia should be aware that such statements can promote bloodshed and a new war in the region".

It should be noted that Sergey Markov, Russia's State Duma member and director of the Institute for Political Studies, said in case of war in Nagorno Garabagh Russia will render any assistance to Armenia, supply it with weapons and devices, while Russian volunteers will be sent to Garabagh to fight against Azerbaijan.
