Candidate to President of Armenia Arman Melikyan: "During the elections, I will be supported by those citizens, who are against the return of territories, which passed under Armenia's control, to Azerbaijan"

The candidate to President of Armenia Arman Melikyan considers that during the presidential elections in Armenia he will be supported by citizens, who are against the return of territories, which passed under control of Armenian armed forces during the Garabagh war.

"I have been observing the pre-election processes for a long time and decided to ballot for president only when it became clear than none of the candidates adhere to the approaches, which I suggest for the resolution of the Garabagh conflict", Melikyan said during a press conference, Monday.

He expressed the intention to present approaches to the resolution  of both inner problems of Armenia and the Garabagh issue in his program.

"The inner situation in the country is undoubtedly the main task. No matter how positively we settle the Artsakh (Garabagh) issue, we will not be a strong country until social stability is ensured", he announced.

Melikyan considers that during the elections, he will be supported by those citizens, who are against the return of territories, which passed under control of the  Armenian armed forces during the Garabagh "liberation" war, as well as refugees from Azerbaijan.

He also included people, willing to live in the country, where law is respected, and those who wants to feel themselves full citizens of the country as well as people, who are against corruptive system of ruling over the country into the list of his potential voters.

Arman Melikyan balloting for the position of the Armenian president is the former adviser of the leader of Nagorno Garabagh separatists.
