Eynulla Fatullayev not going on hunger-strike

Barrister Aydin Nazarli met with the founder and chief editor of the Gundelik Azerbaijan and Realniy Azerbaijan newspapers Eynulla Fatullayev, kept in the pretrial detention center of the Azerbaijani Ministry of National Security.
According to Nazarli, his client's health is in normal state.

He also denied rumors, spread by a number of printed media, saying that Eynulla Fatullayev had gone on hunger-strike. "Eynulla has not gone on hunger-strike and he never informed me about such an intention".

It should be reminded that E.Fatullayev has been sentenced to 8.5 years of imprisonment by the judgement of the Court on Grave Crimes.

The chief editor has been charged in line with article 214.1 (threat of terrorism), article 283.2.2 (mongering national, race, social or religious differences and hatred making use of official position), 213.2.2. (evading taxes (in condition of high income)).
