200 ambassadors accredited in UN attend event on May 28

An event on May 28 – Republic Day was organized in UN Azerbaijan representation.

UN secretary general's assistants, high-ranking officials of New York city administration, representatives of Jewish, Turkish and Azerbaijani communities and about 200 ambassadors accredited in the UN participated in the event.

One more event on May 28 – Republic Day was organized in the city of Houston, Texas by Society of Houston Azerbaijanis.

Vice-president of the society Kamran Zahid told the APA US bureau that along with Azerbaijanis, consuls of CIS countries accredited in the city and representatives of Turkish Diaspora participated in the event.
