Azeri MP to visit Moldova on "Pasat case"

The member of Azerbaijani delegation to PACE Gultakin Hajiyeva's report on "Pasat case" was heard at the Parliamentary Assembly of Council of Europe (PACE) Legal Affairs Committee Human Rights subcommittee's meeting.

Hajiyeva told the APA correspondent she made a report on Moldova's former defense minister Valeri Pasat's case.

"There was exchange of views on this report and the Committee decided that I should visit Moldova as rapporteur and investigate this issue. I will visit Moldova in October and meet with Valeri Pasat, Moldovan Justice Minister, Supreme Court's chief, and political leaders of the country and seek for solution of the issue."
