04 April 2007 [14:46] - TODAY.AZ
"Ruling coalition and government will make no preparations for early elections, until Constitutional Court makes decision," Ukrainian Premier Victor Yanukovich stated at the government's meeting.

He said that election campaign can start after Constitutional Court analyzes whether the president's decree conforms to the legislation and gives corresponding opinion.

Yanukovich said that chief of the Constitutional Court Ivan Dombrovski is exerted pressure and he wants to resign, APA reports.

The Prime Minister publicized his proposals on finding solution to the political crisis. He offered Yushchenko to annul the decree on dissolving the parliament and all decisions made in the Parliament after this decree.

Prime Minister and president had a 4.5-hour meeting on April 3. Yanukovich could not make Yushchenko change his mind.

Victor Bondar, Deputy Head of the presidential secretariat said that heads of province administrations have already started preparations for extraordinary parliamentary elections, establishing local election commissions. He said that heads of provinces signed joint statement supporting the president.

"Heads of city administrations support Ukrainian president. Security agencies also support the president and they will ensure observing laws in Ukraine," he said.
