Reps of Public Committee for Penitentiary Service Control meet with head of OSCE Office in Baku

Chief of the Committee for Democracy and Human Rights Chingiz Ganizade said that the ambassador was informed of the problems that human rights defenders face in the country.

He said the ambassador was told that they are not allowed for monitoring detention places of the National Security Ministry and guardroom of the Defense Ministry.

The head of OSCE Office in Baku was also informed of cases of discrimination in paroling prisoners, and the ambassador was asked to report to the head of state about these problems, APA reports.
