He told IRNA that given the access of information dissemination centers and news media of both countries to each other's news items, they can exchange information directly.
"At times the media of Iran and Azerbaijan obtain the news about each other from foreign and Western sources, which contain false information not suiting the relations between the two friendly and brotherly countries," he added.
The Iranian diplomat said that both sides will attempt to exchange information directly in future.
Turning to the numerous potentials in bilateral ties as well as its growing trend in cultural and economic fields, he said that both countries are willing to further bolster their relations.
"Iran's general library will be established in Baku to respond to the cultural demands of the Azeri people," he added.
Despite the interest of both sides to broaden their cultural exchanges, change of alphabet in Azerbaijan has caused some problems for their access to Iranian sources.
"Therefore, special sections at Azerbaijan's national academy of science and universities have been allocated to Persian language sources," he added.
Urging the need to facilitate exchange of visits between the citizens of the two countries, he declared Iran's readiness to cancel the visa requirement between the two countries. IRNA
