President Aliyev awards National Security Ministry officers

According to the decree, deputy Security Minister Ali Shafiyev, head of Military Counterintelligence General Office Nizami Shirinov and deputy chief of Counterintelligence General Office Hafiz Musayev were promoted to general major, President's press service told APA.

Under another decree, the president conferred medals 'For state service' on two officers, 'For Motherland' on eight officers, 'For Bravery' on four officers, 'For military services' on 16 officers of the Security Ministry for their contribution to ensuring national security, detection and prevention of activity of foreign intelligence services, fighting against international terrorism and transnational organized crimes.
