Condoleezza Rice and Robert Gates call for Congress not to approve Armenian genocide resolution

US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice and Pentagon's chief Robert Gates have written to the House of Representatives.

In the letter to the House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, Republican leader John Boehner and House Foreign Affairs Committee chief Tom Lantos, both senior officials called for the congressmen not to approve the bill on false Armenian genocide.

Rice noted that the adoption of mentioned bill will seriously harm Turkey-US relations and US's international relations system.

The analogical ideas have been mentioned in the letter written by the Secretary of Defense, APA's US bureau reports.
