14 March 2007 [07:44] - TODAY.AZ
There were divergences in the opposition Musavat Party, some of them have already been solved, but there are still some. They will possibly be solved as a result of discussions, the member of Musavat Supreme Assembly Vurgun Eyyub said.

He told the APA that he expresses his position on the divergences in the party at the meetings of the Assembly and Supreme Assembly and does not want to speak about it again.

The party leadership has solved all possible problems. The other problems are being discussed, he said.

Arif Hajili, head of Musavat Executive Board told the APA that he does not know what Vurgun Eyyub is talking about. Hajili said there are no divergences in the party, he regards them as pluralism.

Some biased people and even some unbiased experts predicted that Musavat will be separated. But they were not right. Reforms are being carried out in the party. And the reforms will continue, he said.

Sulheddin Ekber, the chief of the Party's Assembly also said he does not know what Vurgun Eyyub is talking about.

He also noted that divergences in the party are always debated and these problems will not be publicized.

The party Supreme Assembly has a decision not to publicize the problems within the party. The party should have a special decision for publicizing these problems, he said.
