Azerbaijan and Tajikistan to sign several documents during President's visit

Azerbaijani and Tajik Presidents plan to have one-on-one meeting in Dushanbe on March 15. Following this, the delegations of the two countries will meet.

Seven interstate and intergovernmental documents on cooperation in different spheres will be signed after the meeting.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Tajikistan’s President Emomoli Rahmonov plan to hold a press conference after the signing ceremony. President Ilham Aliyev will visit ancient historical monuments, museums of Dushanbe and participate in the several cultural events on March 16.

Following this, President Ilham Aliyev will have a one-on-one meeting with Tajikistan's Prime Minister Akil Akilov. Azerbaijani President will later meet with speaker of the Upper House of Tajikistan parliament Mahammadsaid Ubaydullayev and end his official visit after that.

The members of the working group arranging the President's visit to Tajikistan left for Dushanbe March 11.

Press conference devoted to Ilham Aliyev's official visit will be held in the Foreign Ministry of Tajikistan, APA reports.

This is the first visit of Azerbaijani President to Tajikistan since it gained its independence.
