Azeri envoy to Ukraine: "Azerbaijanis will not be deported from Ukraine"

"The opening of GUAM Secretariat in Kyiv is one of the main projects. When the process is finished, the activities within GUAM will be submitted to the agenda of the secretariat," said Azerbaijani ambassador to Ukraine Telet Aliyev.

He told APA that Azerbaijani citizens will not face the problem of deportation as in Russia.

"Ukraine-Azerbaijani relations are very strong. So Azerbaijanis will not be deported from Ukraine. Sincere relations between the presidents are essential guarantee of it," he noted.

The ambassador said that Ukraine’s military assistance to Azerbaijan is normal.

"Azerbaijan-Ukraine relations are getting stronger in all fields. Both sides are going to continue cooperation in military as well," he said.
