Dmitry Kiselyov then began ranting about the events
surrounding Sputnik-Azerbaijan, claiming that honest journalists had been
declared "agents of the FSB."
Well, here you go: Vitaly Denisov was the head of Sputnik in
Azerbaijan right before Kartavykh and Belousov were detained today.
In his "journalistic" activities, this
"journalist" had already worked in the administration of the
"president of South Ossetia." Then, he was sent to Baku, but he
didn’t last long.
So, at least one security officer in Baku worked under the
guise of a journalist at Sputnik. Why, then, is it so improbable that Kartavykh
and Belousov could turn out to be FSB officers?
On the contrary, it would be very surprising if they were
not FSB officers.
