Anne Boyon in Shusha. Why were you showing off?

Diplomats and representatives of the diplomatic corps from dozens of countries are currently in Karabakh.

And guess who’s among them? The French Ambassador to Baku, Anne Boyon!

In an interview with journalists, she expressed great delight with the city. Here is her quote:

"This is my first visit to Shusha, and I am very happy to be here — this is a real opportunity to discover this city. As I said earlier, Shusha holds a special place in the hearts of the Azerbaijani people, as it has played a very important role in the cultural life of Azerbaijan."

Boyer noted that she is impressed by the work done in Shusha and by the fact that the most important cultural sites and institutions — symbols of Azerbaijani culture — are coming back to life and becoming accessible to visitors.

Did you like it? Well, we’re glad. But it’s hard to believe Boyon’s sincerity, though.
