President Ilham Aliyev, First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visit Fuzuli region [PHOTO]

President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva have visited Fuzuli region, Azertag reports.

The president and the first lady first attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a vocational lyceum to be constructed in the city of Fuzuli. Minister of Education Emin Amrullayev informed President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva of the complex.

The head of state laid the foundation stone for the Fuzuli city Vocational Lyceum.

The Vocational Lyceum will cover an area of 3.4 hectares.

Moreover, the reconstruction work carried out in the liberated territories under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev is reviving these places, and the consequences of the damage caused to the ecological system by the Armenians are being eliminated.

As part of a visit to the city of Fuzuli, the president and first lady planted trees in the territory of the new central park complex to be created in the city.

Additionally, Ilham Aliyev and Mehriban Aliyeva have attended a groundbreaking ceremony for a 180-bed Fuzuli District Central Hospital.

Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the liberated territories of the Karabakh Economic Region (except Shusha district) Emin Huseynov informed the President and the First Lady of the work to be done.

President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone for the hospital.
