Georgian PM promises return of lands to Azerbaijanis

Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili intends to restore justice and return the lands which were taken away by a former government to Azerbaijani citizens of Georgia.

"In the pre-election period we met with the local people and got to know that even arable lands were taken away from them to be sold to foreigners, "Ivanishvili said at a press conference in Tbilisi.

Ivanishvili stated that Georgian citizens are a priority for the new government and Azerbaijani citizens of Georgia will receive their lands back.

"Citizens of Georgia are a priority for us. We welcome foreign investments, but not at expense of our citizens," he stressed.
