Soloists of Bolshoi Theatre to perform “Swan Lake” in Baku

Classical ballet “Swan Lake” by Tchaikovsky will be staged at the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre on December 1.

Soloists of the State Academic Bolshoi Theatre of Russia, prima ballerina, People’s Artist of Russia, laureate of international ballet competitions Maria Allash and Honored Artist of Russia, laureate of international ballet competitions Aleksandr Volchkov will perform the main roles.
Ballet will be conducted by the People’s Artist of Azerbaijan, professor Javanshir Jafarov.

Earlier, Maria Allash and Aleksandr Volchkov was awarded special prize for the best performance of Odette-Odile and Prince Siegfried parties in the play “Swan Lake” at the International Festival of Classical Ballet in England in 2010.
