Azerbaijani soloists to perform in Astana

Soloists of the Azerbaijan State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, honored artists Gulnaz Ismayilova and Samir Jafarov will leave for Astana to perform in the jubilee event devoted to the 100th anniversary of Kulyas Beseitova, Soviet Kazakh opera singer, in Astana on April 15-19.

Azerbaijani soloists to be accompanied by the Kazakh State Symphony Orchestra will sing arias and duets from the Azerbaijani composer Uzeyir Hajibeyov’s Leyli and Majnun operetta.
Singers from Turkic-speaking and CIS countries will also take part in the event.
