National classification on ICT services registered in Azerbaijan

A statistic classification of Information and Communication Technologies Services was prepared by working group established by the participation of specialists of relevant organizations in the Ministry of CIT.

According to Ministry, national classification was prepared in accordance to the “State Program on improvement of official statistics in 2008-2012, in Azerbaijan”.

The project of classification was registered by the State Committee on Standardization, Metrology and Patent with the number of AZT 042-2011.

AZT 042-2011 classification was prepared on the basis of Statistical Commission of the European Economic Association’s CPA 2008 (Classification of products by activity) classification and is considered for describe the services in ITC sphere.
