Azerbaijan sees 1% decline in industrial production in January-April

Azerbaijan’s industrial production made AZN 9.8 billion during January-April, 2011, down 0.9% compared to a year ago, said the State Statistical Committee.

According to State Statistical Committee, the 75.4% of industrial output was produced in mining sector, 17.9% - in processing sector, 6.1% - in electric energy, gas and steam sector, 0.6% in water supply, waste treatment and processing sector.

At the same time, the production in non-oil sector rose 10.7%, in oil-gas sector decreased by 3.6% during the same period.
