Azerbaijan, Czech Republic to discuss mutual investment opportunities in securities market

An Azerbaijani delegation consisting of representatives of the State Securities Committee’s leadership, the Baku Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Depository Centre (NDC) will visit the Czech Republic on May 15-22, the committee said.

The visit aims to introduce experienced development and regulation of the securities market to the Czech Republic, discussion of mutual investment opportunities in the securities market and review of cooperation mechanisms between the two countries’ securities markets regulators.

During the visit, meetings will be held to discuss issues of mutual interest with the Central Bank, which regulates the securities market in the Czech Republic, the Prague Stock Exchange, the Central Depository, broker companies, investment banks and securities market participants.
