Minister Ali Abbasov: Transfer to manat tariffication increased transparency in mobile communication sphere

Azerbaijani Minister of Communications and Information Technologies Ali Abbasov took a stance on transfer of mobile operators functioning in the country into manat tariffication.

He said that transfer to manat tariffication increased transparency in mobile communication sphere.

"Subscriber can control money paid for service, compare services among business operators, thus option of subscriber begins to widen. In turn, this transfer strengthens competitiveness among the operators", he added.

Note that, the biggest operator of Azerbaijan – Azercell switched to manat tariffication since May 1. The first mobile operator in Azerbaijan – Bakcell will switch to this tariffication from May 5. Azerfon company applies this tariffication since its establishment.
