SOCAR has made statement on accident took place at "Galmaz" gas storage.

According to the info, on May 1, during daytime hours, an accident happened in Galmaz territory of SOCAR’s Azneft Industrial Unions’ Underground Gas Storage.

The incident took place during expansion works carried out in the underground gas storage. As a result of the incident, teamster of the plant Arif Bashirov died, erector Vagif Shafiyev was injured. Commission has been launched for investigation of the accident.
