National Digital Intellectual Property Library to be established in Azerbaijan

A meeting was held among the head of Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA) sector on Central Asia and CIS countries Hi Suk Koh, head of organization’s Azerbaijan representation Yang Vu Kim and specialist on patent sphere Byung Yap Lee in the State Committee for Standardization, Metrology and Patent.

According to the committee, the meeting focused on the "Establishment Project of Intellectual Property Management in Azerbaijan" which  is planned sign between SCSMP and KOICA.

The project purposes to establish computerized system fort automatization of administrative works on intellectual property, compile the national information base collection and form the National Digital Intellectual Property Library. For this purpose, Korean KIPOnet system is planned to be applied in Azerbaijan.
