
In January-March, 2011, 12.1 mln tons of oil or 4.3% more oil was transported via oil-trunk pipeline in Azerbaijan compared to a year ago.
State Statistical Committee told that 76.3% of transportation was realized by Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan oil pipeline. 9.2 mln tons of oil was transported via this pipeline within the period. This indicator is 4.5% more compared to January-March, 2010. During Q1 period of current year, 616.3 ml tons of Turkmenistan oil was transported via Baku-Tbilisi-Jeyhan pipe from Sangachal terminal.
Moreover, 5.5 bn cubic meters of gas was transported via gas pipe-line during reporting period, up to 11% compared to January-March, 2010. 23.6% of transported gas was realized via Baku-Tbilisi-Arzurum South Caucasus pipeline. 1.3 bln cubic meters of gas was transported via this pipeline within this year. This indicator remains unchanged compared to January-March, 2010.
